Daniel and Isabella are two abandoned children. Their father is gone and their mother suffers from a strange terminal illness. They accompany and support each other as best they can, but their relationship begins to deteriorate when Isabella discovers the myth of Lucecita and wants to go to the cemetery constantly. Her brother, much more skeptical of the supposed miracles performed by this “saint from Fusagasugue,” will do everything he can to maintain the fragile stability of his family.
